Sea Master Sailing School Lanzarote
A must for anyone who needs a
n adventure holiday in Lanzarote.
Learn to sail and have fun with Duncan. What a fabulous week. Mike Tranter MD Acoustafoam.
Welcome Sea Master Training Centre.
Sea Master are a small family run Sailing and Power centre, operating in the year round warm and sunny climate of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands.
We offer RYA Training Courses for any pursuit and Weekly Executive Quality Sailing Courses, Cruising Holidays, Adventure Weeks and Mile Building.
The centre is operated by Duncan Boycott, who has been on the water for more than 40 years and is an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor for both Sailing, Motor Cruising and also an Advanced Powerboat Instructor, it is highly likely that Duncan will be your skipper should you sail with us.
Duncan Explains our Training Ethos :-
'Our aim is to offer the best Quality of Instruction Possible on Quality boats. We do not try to push people through the RYA syllabus and rush people onto the next course until we are sure that they understand what they have already learned.
We also advise clients to build the necessary experience between courses to ensure that when they do achieve a level in the syllabus, they feel completely confident of being able to perform to that level and keep their boat and crew safe.
What gives me greatest pleasure is to be able to sit and watch a skipper who has trained with us bring his boat into a berth safely and with ease in challenging conditions'
Our Location:- Steady north easterly trade winds, warm and clear tidal Atlantic waters with an air temperatures around 25 ºC in summer that rarely drops under 18 ºC in winter offer great sailing conditions and in fantastic cruising grounds.
Secluded beaches and tranquil bays are not only ideal sailing grounds but also offer both perfect motor cruising and powerboat course and charter conditions.

Acoustic Insulation

Acoustic Insulation Products Manufactured by Acoustafoam

Acoustic Insulation

Sound insulation is the process of soundproofing an enclosed space. This type of insulating activity is usually employed when there is a need to keep sound from filtering into or out of the space.

Acoustic foam reduces or eliminates echoes and background noises by controlling the reverberation that sound can make by bouncing off walls. This type of sound absorption is different than soundproofing, which is typically used to keep sound from escaping a room.

With the aid of our profiling machine and laminating plant we have a complete range of acoustic insulation products to meet all customer demands. We offer over 500 combinations of foams, barriers, facings, profiles and self adhesives in sheet and cut part form.

Facings

PU laminate

Polyurethane is a resilient, flexible and durable material that resists moisture, heat and insulates walls. (available in white or black)

Foil faced

Foil facing is used to stop vapour or moisture whilst they reduce heat loss through radiation and reflecting any extra hear from another source. (Class O certified)

Felt

Made of natural fibres such as wool or synthetic fibre such as acrylic it can be fire retardant.

Polymeric barrier

A vinyl sound barrier mat loaded with naturally occurring minerals which is free of load, unrefined aromatic oils and bitumen to improve sound insulation.

Glass fibre

Also known as needle mat offers uniform thickness and density, high temperature performance up to 650 degrees and contains no binders. This material is an excellent thermal conductivity at elevated temperatures, non-toxic and exceptional sound absorption properties.

Aluminium coated glass fibre

Using a special adhesive to over fibre cloth with aluminium foil leaves the product with an even and smooth surface. It is high reflectivity, high tensile strength, good sealing performance, airtight, heat insulator, sound absorbent and waterproof.

Profiling acoustic foam sheets provide a greater surface area for increased sound absorption.

These materials can be supplied for direct to wall fixing via mechanical or spray adhesive, supplied with a peel able self adhesive backing or with a bracket fixing on the back for suspending from the ceiling. There is an option to have melamine foam or A01 acoustic foam to be spray painted to any RAL colour or enclosed in a material cover.

Acoustafoam offers a wide range of acoustic foam products with excellent noise and sounds absorption properties. Our foams meet flame retardant standards: FMVSS 302, UL94 HF1 and Class O.

We have a wealth of knowledge in many industrial application using our range of foams - Automotive, rail, generators, construction, air conditioning and defence to name but a few.
