Foam is used in a multitude of industries with a vast range of applications, and it is important to evolve with the sectors. We have invested in a CNC Router so we can offer better solutions and applications of all our product ranges. From cutting to a final user-friendly product.
We can cater to our customer requirements. We can produce many sizes and shapes that can be manufactured and cut for virtually any application.
A CNC router is a computer controlled shaping machine which can cut various hard materials such as wood, composites, plastics and foams. We can cut to any shape or design you require, and our machine will produce consistent and high-quality work without human error.
The CNC router is controlled by a computer and coordinates are uploaded into the device controller from a separate CAD program. CNC router owners often have two software applications – one program to make designs (CAD) and another to translate those designs into a ‘G-Code’ program of instructions for the machine (CAM). As with CNC milling machines, CNC routers can be controlled directly by a manual programming process, and in some cases creating programs whose manual programming would be, if not impossible, certainly commercially impractical.
CNC routers produce consistent and high-quality work and improve factory productivity. Unlike a jig router, the CNC router can produce a one off as efficiently as repeated identical production. A CNC router can reduce waste, frequency of errors, and the time the finished product takes to get to the market. For example, CNC routers can perform the tasks of many carpentry shop machines such as the panel saw, the spindle moulder, and the boring machine. It can also cut mortises and tenon joints.
A CNC router can be used in the production of many different items, such as door carvings, interior and exterior decorations, wood panels, sign boards, wooden frames, mouldings, musical instruments, furniture and so on. Also, the CNC router helps in the thermoforming of plastics by automating the trimming process. CNC routers can assist in ensuring part repeatability and sufficient factory output.
