Our open cell impregnated Class 0 foam is treated with a mineral compound to give a nil burn rate that is suited for applications with a high degree of fire risk. Class 0 foam is chemically inert, non-dusting and owing to its flexibility, is easily applied to curved surfaces or formed to fit complex shapes.
The foam is fire resistant and does not support combustion. Class 0 foam gives excellent sound absorption in engine rooms, generator canopies, heavy vehicles and industrial applications.
Class 0 foam can be supplied with an extensive range of facing materials or spray-applied surface coatings. We can supply in a composite form in combination with lead foil, polymeric barriers, and damping sheets. High-density Class 0 foam has exceptional acoustic properties and is an excellent sound absorption material. It is easy and safe to handle and doesn’t erode or migrate in air movement while being non-fibrous. Silver dolphin fabric option is advised if you’re installing the Class 0 foam such as cabin trim panels or headliners in the automotive sector.
